Basketball Recap: Patton Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Freedom, Patton was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They snuck past the Polk County Wolverines with a 68-63 victory. The win was some much needed relief for the Panthers as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

Patton's victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-7. As for Polk County, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-6.

Patton will face off against West Caldwell at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Polk County, they will take on Hendersonville at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Hendersonville will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Polk County surely won't give up without a fight.
