Basketball Recap: Cascade Comes Up Short

Cascade was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were beaten by the Arlington Eagles 58-9. The contest marked the Bruins' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Cascade's defeat dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Arlington, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cascade and Glacier Peak will meet on Tuesday for a tough Bear Battle. Glacier Peak will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Cascade surely won't give up without a fight. As for Arlington, they will welcome Lake Stevens at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
