Ladysmith got their first taste of in-conference action on Friday and they started things off strong. They snuck past the Cameron Comets with a 26-22 win. The Lumberjacks' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Ladysmith's victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-6. As for Cameron, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-8.

As of now, neither Ladysmith nor the Comets have any future games scheduled.
