Recap: Blue Valley Rams vs. Onaga Buffaloes
The Blue Valley Rams's game last Wednesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Onaga 46-44. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win Blue Valley has posted yet this season.
When it comes to explaining why Onaga lost, one person who can't be blamed is Bridgett Campbell. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 21 points and 13 rebounds. Campbell is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last six games she's played. Another player making a difference was Brianna Bates, who scored eight points along with three steals.
Blue Valley's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Onaga, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
Blue Valley will head out on the road to square off against Washington County on Saturday. Onaga's road trip will continue as they head out to face Troy at 10:00 a.m. on January 20th. Troy is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.
