Football Recap: Bishop Gorman Comes Up Short

Bishop Gorman was the 32-16 winner over McKinney Christian Academy when they last played one another back in November of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Crusaders fell 24-12 to the Mustangs on Friday. The Crusaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

A big part of McKinney Christian Academy's win came down to the chemistry between Cody Dow and his top target Harrison Thompson. Dow rushed for 38 yards and a pair of touchdowns while Thompson picked up 134 receiving yards and one score. That's the most receiving yards Thompson has posted since back in September.

Bishop Gorman's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for McKinney Christian Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3.

Coming up, Bishop Gorman will face off against Geneva at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. McKinney Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
