It was a good run, but Hermann unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Friday. They lost to the Montgomery County Wildcats on the road by a 58-41 margin. While losing is never fun, the Bearcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 95th, while the Wildcats are ranked 22nd).

Hermann's defeat dropped their record down to 22-5. As for Montgomery County, the win (which was their 16th in a row) raised their record to 27-1.

As of now, neither Hermann nor Montgomery County have any future games scheduled.
