Volleyball Recap: Tullahoma Beats Grundy County for Their Third Straight Win

If Grundy County wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Tullahoma, they should've done a better job of containing Maggie Lynch. The Wildcats walked away with a 3-1 win over the Yellowjackets on Monday for which the team can thank Lynch, who had 11 digs and three aces. Lynch is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 11 every time she's taken the court this season.

Tullahoma had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-19, 25-21, 25-18.

The victory (which was Tullahoma's third in a row) raised their record to 4-1. As for Grundy County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Tullahoma will venture away from home to face off against Columbia Central at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Grundy County, they will welcome South Pittsburg at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
