Antioch has gone 6-1 against Johnsburg recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Sequoits will take on the Skyhawks at 6:30 p.m. Antioch will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

Antioch had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 15-run drubbing they dealt Round Lake on Tuesday. The Sequoits' pitchers stepped up to hand the Panthers a 15-0 shutout. The Sequoits might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by six runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Johnsburg). Everything went their way against Woodstock on Tuesday as they made off with a 19-1 victory. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Sarah Nethaway and Kimmy Whitlock did most of the damage at the plate: Nethaway got on base in all five of her plate appearances with four runs, one stolen base, and one double, while Whitlock went 2-for-5 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Those four runs gave Nethaway a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Casie Majercik, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

Johnsburg was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .394. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Antioch's record is now 15-2. As for Johnsburg, their record now sits at 5-7.

Antioch beat Johnsburg 15-10 in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Do the Sequoits have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Skyhawks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
