Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Charles West). They secured a 57-51 W over the Sikeston Bulldogs on Friday. While the Warriors didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

The victory snapped St. Charles West's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-3 record. As for Sikeston, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-6.

St. Charles West wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 41-40 win against North Point on the 28th. As for Sikeston, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Saxony Lutheran at 7:30 p.m. on January 6th.
