Circle had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Saturday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Eudora Cardinals. This was payback for the Thunderbirds, who suffered a 2-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Circle who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 17-25, 25-22.

Despite the loss, Eudora still got an impressive performance from Bailey Hammerschmidt, who had 15 digs and one assist.

Circle's win bumped their record up to 21-10. As for Eudora, their defeat ended an eight-match streak of away wins and brought them to 24-10.

Coming up, Circle will challenge Mulvane at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eudora, they will welcome Paola at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
