Circle entered their tilt with Eudora on Saturday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Cardinals. For the Thunderbirds, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 victory the Cardinals walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

If you add up the scores from across all three sets (71-68) Circle actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 17-25, 25-22.

Brianna Paul was a one-woman wrecking crew as she had 22 digs and two aces. That's the most digs she has posted over her last nine matchups.

When it comes to explaining why Eudora lost, don't look at Bailey Hammerschmidt. Despite the final result, she had 15 digs and one assist.

Circle's win bumped their record up to 21-10. As for Eudora, their loss ended an eight-match streak of away wins and brought them to 24-10.

Looking ahead, Circle will square off against Mulvane at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eudora, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Paola at 6:30 p.m.
