After losing to Claysburg-Kimmel the last time they met, Moshannon Valley decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Moshannon Valley Black Knights/Damsels walked away with a 60-51 victory over the Claysburg-Kimmel Bulldogs on Monday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Black Knights/Damsels.

Moshannon Valley's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kaden Kephart, who went 7-for-14 en route to 22 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Bo Washell, who went 5-for-10 to rack up 14 points and seven boards.

Moshannon Valley smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in seven consecutive matchups.

Despite the loss, Claysburg-Kimmel still got an impressive performance from Brayden Haney, who almost dropped a double-double with 25 points and nine rebounds. Paydden Knisely was another key player, putting up eight points.

Moshannon Valley's record now sits at 7-14. As for Claysburg-Kimmel, their loss dropped their record down to 12-10.

Moshannon Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 49-33 defeat against Northern Cambria on the 11th. As for Claysburg-Kimmel, they have also already played their next game, a 77-36 loss against McConnellsburg on the 14th.
