Volleyball Recap: Village Christian Takes a Loss

Village Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Marin Catholic Wildcats.

Village Christian's offense was headlined by Victoria Ann Miller and Lucy Robel, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Allexa Valencia and her nine assists.

Village Christian's loss dropped their record down to 13-13. As for Marin Catholic, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-3.

Village Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Thousand Oaks on the 3rd. As for Marin Catholic, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Burroughs on the 3rd.
