Cass Tech put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Mumford Mustangs, posting a 48-0 win. Given the Technicians' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked first, while the Mustangs are ranked 425th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Cass Tech's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Mumford, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Cass Tech will face off against rival Western International at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Mumford is set to square off against their familiar foe Renaissance at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
