Basketball Recap: Broughton Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Broughton managed to slip by Willow Spring the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Capitals were beaten by the Storm 70-38 on Tuesday. The Capitals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Willow Spring found their leader in sophomore Lily Temple, who posted 24 points and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Temple has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Ahnala Temple, who earned nine points in addition to six assists and six steals.

Broughton's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Willow Spring, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Looking ahead, Broughton is taking a road trip to square off against Corinth Holders at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Willow Spring, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 60-9 win against Middle Creek on the 3rd.
