Soccer Game Preview: Rush-Henrietta vs. Fairport

Rush-Henrietta is 1-8-1 against Fairport since September of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Royal Comets are taking a road trip to take on the Red Raiders at 7:15 p.m.

On Saturday, Rush-Henrietta didn't have quite enough to beat Webster Schroeder and fell 2-1.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last matchup, Fairport made sure to put some goals up on the board against Victor on Saturday. They blew past the Blue Devils 4-1. Considering Fairport have won five matches by more than two goals this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Rush-Henrietta's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Fairport, their win bumped their record up to 10-0.

Rush-Henrietta came up short against Fairport in their previous meeting back in September, falling 3-1. Can the Royal Comets avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
