It was a good run, but Croswell-Lexington unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to the Yale Bulldogs. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Pioneers have suffered since September 23rd.

While Croswell-Lexington was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-22, 25-18.

Lauren West paced Croswell-Lexington's offense, picking up ten kills. West got some help from Amaya Torrez and her 16 assists.

Croswell-Lexington's defeat dropped their record down to 15-15. As for Yale, they pushed their record up to 22-13 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Croswell-Lexington will face off against Reese at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Yale, after both having extra time off, they and Imlay City will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
