Softball Recap: Stuart W. Cramer Comes Up Short

Stuart W. Cramer was the 6-2 winner over North Gaston when they last played one another back in April of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Storm came up short against the Wildcats on Wednesday, falling 19-6.

Stuart W. Cramer saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brinley Womack, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Dani Tejada was another, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

Stuart W. Cramer's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for North Gaston, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stuart W. Cramer will welcome Bessemer City at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for North Gaston, they will be playing at home against Cherryville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
