Baseball Recap: Hillside's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

Hillside lost against Rahway back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Comets fell just short of the Indians by a score of 9-8. The loss was the Comets' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Hillside fell to 3-1. As for Rahway, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-3.

Looking ahead, Hillside will be playing in front of their home fans against Newark Central at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rahway, they will venture away from home to face off against South Amboy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Indians' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Governors have averaged an impressive 8 runs per game this season.
