Baseball Recap: Keene's Luck Changes for the Better on Thursday

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Nazarene Christian Academy, Keene was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Italy Gladiators 6-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Chargers have posted since March 7, 2024.

Keene moved to 2-5 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Italy, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Keene will take on Hubbard at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Italy, they will square off against Connally at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. Italy is facing Connally at the right time seeing as Connally is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
