It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Varela had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Southridge Spartans as they made off with a 3-0 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Vipers sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Varela was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 17 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in five consecutive contests.
