On Saturday Caden Thomas tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. The effort also marked the most strikeouts (four) Thomas has had since back in March. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his fourth in a row with less than one earned run. This year, he has an ERA of 1.31 over 16 innings pitched.

Coming up, Thomas and Langham Creek will challenge Cypress Lakes at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sadly, Thomas' big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Lobos' three-game streak of wins at home. With the streak broken, Thomas and the Lobos surely have a bit of extra motivation heading into Tuesday's match.
