Volleyball Recap: Cedar Bluff Takes a Loss

Cedar Bluff was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cherokee County Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Monday.

Cedar Bluff was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring 15 points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-15.

Cedar Bluff's defeat dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Cherokee County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 35-7-1 record this season.

Coincidentally, Cedar Bluff and Cherokee County will both be playing Spring Garden the next time they take the court. The Tigers will host the Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Warriors will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
