Oldham County entered their tilt with Nelson County on Tuesday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They blew past the Cardinals 3-0. The Colonels have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cardinals, too.

Oldham County walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-20, 25-11.

Ava Arterburn paced Oldham County's offense, picking up ten kills. Arterburn got some help from Ella Regenhold and her 19 assists. Arterburn was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Oldham County's victory bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Nelson County, they dropped their record down to 5-16 with the defeat, which was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Oldham County will venture away from home to face off against Bullitt East at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Nelson County, they will head out to take on Bardstown at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
