Football Recap: Hand Starts Season with Victory Against Middletown + How To Watch

Hand took care of business in their home opener on Wednesday. They strolled past the Middletown Blue Dragons with points to spare, taking the game 32-14. The Tigers pushed the score to 32-8 by the end of the third, a deficit the Blue Dragons cut but never quite recovered from.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hand will face off against Glastonbury at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Middletown, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Thames River co-op [Norwich RVT/Grasso RVT/St. Bernard] at 6:00 p.m. on September 12. This will be the Blue Dragons' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
