Highland Tech came tearing into Thursday's matchup with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Cherryville Ironmen. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Rams also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Highland Tech not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Cherryville between 16 and 17 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-17, 25-16.

Madie Chapman paced Highland Tech's offense, picking up 12 kills. Chapman got some help from Carsyn Redmond and her 13 assists. Josie Searby controlled things from the service line, finishing with nine aces.

Highland Tech's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Cherryville, they dropped their record down to 3-3 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.
