After losing to Perry the last time they met, Peach County decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Trojans put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 27-6 win on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Trojans.

Peach County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ashton Barton, who rushed for 59 yards and two TDs, and also picked up 101 receiving yards and one score. Barton really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 96 yards. Caiden Ivory was another key passer, throwing for 205 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Peach County didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Bryson Hughley and Deandre Stinson.

Peach County's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Perry, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Peach County will be playing in front of their home fans against Berkmar at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Perry, they will venture away from home to square off against Houston County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
