Wartburg Central is 9-0 against Jellico since December of 2014 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Wartburg Central Bulldogs will square off against the Jellico Blue Devils at 6:30 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Wartburg Central took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They took down Rockwood 41-23. That looming 41-23 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Bulldogs yet this season.

Meanwhile, Jellico had to endure a 19-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They slipped by Oliver Springs 42-41 on Tuesday.

Jellico's victory ended a 13-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-20. As for Wartburg Central, the win snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 7-15 record.

Wartburg Central was able to grind out a solid victory over Jellico in their previous meeting back in January, winning 62-51. The rematch might be a little tougher for Wartburg Central since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
