Basketball Game Preview: Pope John XXIII vs. Morris Catholic Crusaders

Pope John XXIII is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Immaculate Heart Academy, sneaking past 45-43. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Pope John XXIII.

Meanwhile, Morris Catholic put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They took down DePaul Catholic 61-46. Given the Crusaders' advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked first, while the Spartans are ranked 37th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Pope John XXIII's victory bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Morris Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 26-0.
