Durham has gone 7-2 against Pierce recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Trojans will head out to take on the Bears at 4:00 p.m. Durham is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.3 runs per game this season.

The win continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Bobcats: they've now won five in a row.

Durham saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jack Stephens, who went 1-for-2 with two runs. Another was Brady Doyle, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

Meanwhile, Pierce was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They came up short against Durham, falling 23-2.

Mikey Acevedo made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Pierce's defeat dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Durham, their record is now 15-7.

Everything went Durham's way against Pierce in their previous meeting on Tuesday, as Durham made off with a 23-2 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Trojans since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
