Clatskanie had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They never let the Lost River Raiders onto the board and left with a 4-0 win on Wednesday. The victory was familiar territory for Clatskanie who now have five in a row.
Joey Sizemore was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 15 over eight innings pitched. Sizemore was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with a home run, four RBI, and a double.
Sizemore wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Kennedy Johnson, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
