Soccer Recap: Richland Takes a Loss

After flying high against Wayne County last Tuesday, Richland came back down to earth. The Richland Raiders fell just short of the Columbia Academy Bulldogs by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The Raiders were not able to make up for their loss to the Bulldogs from their previous meeting back in April of 2017.

Richland's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3-1. As for Columbia Academy, their record now sits at 4-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Richland will venture away from home to challenge Lawrence County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Columbia Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Marshall County at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Marshall County will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Columbia Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
