Ringgold is 8-2 against North Murray since January of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Ringgold Tigers will head out on the road to challenge the North Murray Mountaineers at 7:00 p.m. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.

On Tuesday, Ringgold didn't have quite enough to beat Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe and fell 60-58.

Meanwhile, North Murray played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by Murray County and fell 74-21. The Mountaineers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 50-13.

North Murray's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Ringgold, they now have a losing record at 8-9.

Everything came up roses for Ringgold against North Murray in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, as the squad secured a 65-30 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Ringgold since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
