Baseball Recap: Massac County Continues Road Dominance on Saturday

Massac County is still undefeated this season after their contest against Murray on Saturday, but Murray came as close as anyone has to beating them. Massac County came out on top in a nail-biter against Murray, sneaking past 4-2. The four-run effort marked the Patriots' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

The team relied heavily on Adan Mizell, who went 1-for-2 with three RBI and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024. Brayden Jennings also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Massac County's victory was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.6 runs over those games. As for Murray, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-4.
