Soccer Game Preview: Arvada vs. Denver West

Arvada hasn't had much luck against Denver West recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Bulldogs will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against the Cowboys at 4:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Last Wednesday, Arvada didn't have quite enough to beat Arrupe Jesuit and fell 4-3. Arvada have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

They hit Arrupe Jesuit with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Nora Rice, Dama Rubio, and Jessica Vasquez.

Meanwhile, Denver West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 4-0 to Lincoln. The matchup was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for Denver West it sure didn't stay that way.

Arvada's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Denver West, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.
