Mineral Point waltzed into their contest on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They took down the Mount Horeb Vikings 75-58. The Pointers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Vikings, too.

Mineral Point's win bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Mount Horeb, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mineral Point will venture away from home to face off against Iowa-Grant at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Mineral Point knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Iowa-Grant likes a good challenge. As for Mount Horeb, they are taking a road trip to challenge Lakeside Lutheran at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
