Softball Game Preview: Riverside University/Meir vs. Milwaukee Bradley Tech Trojans

In other batting news, Izzy Alvarado was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and two stolen bases. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Briana Gray was another key player, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with four runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Riverside University/Meir was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Milwaukee Bradley Tech's offense. They lost 21-0 to Milwaukee Reagan on Tuesday. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Milwaukee Bradley Tech's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Riverside University/Meir, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Riverside University/Meir took their victory against Milwaukee Bradley Tech when the teams last played two weeks ago by a conclusive 17-7 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for Riverside University/Meir since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
