Southampton came into Monday's matchup looking for another win against Colonial Heights, but Cameron Hartsoe wouldn't allow it. The Colonial Heights Colonials enjoyed a cozy 75-58 win over the Southampton Indians on Monday thanks in part to Hartsoe, who went 15-for-21 to rack up 40 points along with six assists and five rebounds. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in assists.

Despite the defeat, Southampton had strong showings from Zayden Pope, who went 10-for-20 on his way to 25 points, and Adin Brown, who posted 13 points in addition to eight boards and four steals. Brown is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last six games he's played. Another player making a difference was Israel Key, who had nine points.

Colonial Heights' record now sits at 6-12. As for Southampton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-3.

Colonial Heights didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 81-67 victory against Prince George on the 7th. As for Southampton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 65-49 win against Windsor on the 4th.
