Baseball Recap: Riley County Comes Up Short

Riley County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 19-8 to the Sabetha Bluejays. That's two games in a row now that the Falcons have lost by exactly 11 runs.

Riley County's defeat dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Sabetha, they pushed their record up to 11-10 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Riley County will head out to square off against Perry-Lecompton on Monday. As for Sabetha, they will challenge Royal Valley on Monday. The Bluejays are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a 16-game losing streak.
