Volleyball Recap: Jones County Comes Up Short

Jones County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Eagle's Landing Christian Academy Chargers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Greyhounds of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Olivia Dotson was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 13 digs and two aces. Those 13 digs gave her a new career-high.

Jones County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Eagle's Landing Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0-1.

Jones County has already played their next game (against Hampton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Eagle's Landing Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Carrollton on the 9th.
