Baseball Recap: Strathmore Takes a Loss

Strathmore lost against Lindsay back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Spartans lost 8-1 to the Cardinals.

Strathmore saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Valentin Araujo, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Strathmore's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7-1. As for Lindsay, the win got them back to even at 4-4-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Strathmore will welcome Laton at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lindsay, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Woodlake at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cardinals' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 6.8 runs per game this season.
