Baseball Recap: Saturday's Victory Is Citrus Hill's Fifth in Last Six Outings

Citrus Hill got themselves on the board against Hemet on Saturday, but Hemet never followed suit. They came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 3-0. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Joel Raya was excellent, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

Citrus Hill is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. Hemet's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Citrus Hill beat Hemet by a score of 3-0 later that day.
