Basketball Recap: TEACH Homeschool Comes Up Short

TEACH Homeschool was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the StoneBridge Cavaliers, falling 68-16. The Beach Breakers lost against the Cavaliers in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 34-25 score last time.

TEACH Homeschool's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for StoneBridge, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. TEACH Homeschool will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Tidewater Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 21, 2025. As for StoneBridge, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Broadwater Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
