The Gunn Titans will face off against the Hillsdale FIGHTING KNIGHTS at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (Gunn 3.5, Hillsdale 4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Hillsdale will be up against a hot Gunn team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. Gunn came out on top against Fremont by a score of 7-4 on Saturday.

Anders Lo tossed a big game, striking out six batters over 5.2 innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits (and not a single walk). The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in strikeouts.
At the plate, Gunn let Cam Owen and Adrian Lee run wild. Owen scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4, while Lee scored a run while going 2-for-5. Owen also put up two doubles, which were his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Jonah Weinstein, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI.
Gunn kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in three consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Hillsdale was able to grind out a solid win over San Mateo on Monday, taking the game 7-4. The victory continues a trend for the FIGHTING KNIGHTS in their matchups with the Bearcats: they've now won eight in a row.
Jake Belloni was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Bonner, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI.
Hillsdale now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Gunn, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Monday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Gunn has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Hillsdale struggles in that department as they've been averaging 9.8 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
