Franklin had to skate by with only a two-point margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 22-point drubbing they dealt Bret Harte on Friday. The Yellowjackets put the hurt on the Bullfrogs with a sharp 36-14 win. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Yellowjackets considering their eight-point performance the game before.

Franklin's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Bret Harte, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Franklin will face off against Burbank at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bret Harte, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on El Camino at 7:00 p.m. on the 12th.
