Baseball Recap: Lincoln Park Takes a Loss

The Lincoln Park Lions didn't have quite enough to beat the Westmont Sentinels on Saturday and fell 6-5. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lincoln Park's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Westmont, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6-1 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lincoln Park will face off against Taft at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Lions' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 8 runs per game this season. As for Westmont, they will square off against Dakota at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Sentinels' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Indians have averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season.
