Basketball Game Preview: Port of Los Angeles Polar Bears vs. Legacy Tigers

The Port of Los Angeles Polar Bears will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the Legacy Tigers at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Port of Los Angeles is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Dominguez on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Polar Bears took a blow against the Dons, falling 79-31. The Polar Bears were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-14.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Trevor Fulton, who posted six points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaeden Tran, who had eight points.

Meanwhile, Legacy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against Arleta two weeks ago, falling 85-64.
