Volleyball Recap: McFarland Victorious

McFarland posted their closest victory since September 20th on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Wauwatosa East Red Raiders, sneaking past 2-1.

Kayla Landerud paced McFarland's offense, picking up 11 kills. Landerud got some help from Callie Spanos and her 15 assists. Spanos was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

The win got McFarland back to even at 15-15. As for Wauwatosa East, their loss dropped their record down to 19-9.

McFarland has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against New Berlin West on the 4th. As for Wauwatosa East, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Howards Grove on the 4th.
