Preview: Choteau Bulldogs vs. Cut Bank Wolves
The Choteau Bulldogs will head out on the road to take on the Cut Bank Wolves at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses apiece.
Choteau suffered their biggest loss since December 19, 2023 on Thursday. They had to suffer through a rough 63-25 loss at the hands of Chinook. While losing is never fun, Choteau can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Montana basketball rankings (they are ranked 137th, while Chinook is ranked ninth).
Rylynn Allaire put forth a good effort for the losing side as she scored seven points.
Meanwhile, Cut Bank came up short against Shelby on January 16th and fell 40-28.
Choteau's record is now 2-12. Cut Bank's record is now 1-6.
Choteau strolled past Cut Bank in their previous meeting on January 5th by a score of 46-29. The rematch might be a little tougher for Choteau since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
