Edgewood skates past Brown County with ease

Recap: Edgewood Mustangs vs. Brown County Eagles

The Edgewood Mustangs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Brown County 74-47 on the road. With Edgewood ahead 52-24 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Edgewood to victory, but perhaps none more so than Caden Jones, who scored 18 points. Jones set a new season high mark in steals with two. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Boggs, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds.

Edgewood's victory bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Brown County, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5.

Edgewood is on the road again on Saturday and play against South Putnam at 7:30 p.m. on January 6th. That game will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Drew Hill and Mialin White. As for Brown County, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Indian Creek at 7:30 p.m. Indian Creek will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak.
